Water Puzzle

Tebogo and Paulus live in a rural area. They do not have running water at home and have to fetch water from the river 2 kilometers away. Their neighbour, Amos, has a donkey cart and fetches water in two 20 litre drums, which he shares with them.

Today both Teboga and Paulus need 2 litres of water for a school experiment. Tebogo has a 5 liter bucket, and Paulus a 4 liter tin. How will Amos give them each exactly 2 litres of water if they do not have any other containers?

Hint: THis is a simple juggling trick, making use of addition and subtraction.
