More about Sundials |

| Sundials are made from a wide variety of materials, mostly
materials that can withstand exposure to sun, rain, snow, wind, heat and
cold. Cardboard models are only suitable to illustrate how a sundial works
or as preparation for the real thing. Sundials are normally adorned with pictures and inscriptions. Most frequently used pictures are of course the sun and pictorial representations of the constellations. |
