Gourmet green beans

Ingredients

  • 5 ml canola or olive oil
  • 1 small onion, peeled and chopped
  • 2 rashers bacon, chopped, fat discarded (30g uncooked)
  • 500ml frozen green beans or 1 x 410g can green beans drained
     

Method

  1. Heat the oil and fry the onion until transparent.
  2. Add the bacon and fry until browned, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the green beans and fry until heated through and lightly browned.
     
 

Serves 4.
