Rice Krispie Fingers - with dates

Cookies

Ingredients

 
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 250 g dates, chopped
  • 250 g Rice Krispies
  • 1 teaspoon lemon essence
 

Method

 
  1. Boil sugar, butter and dates until smooth. Cool slightly.
  2. Add Rice Krispies and mix well.
  3. Press into a 30 x 30 cm pan, stand until cold. Cut into squares or fingers.
