Müsli

Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 500g Rolled oats
  • 500g Wheat flakes **
  • 250g Wheat germ
  • 250g Digestive bran
  • 125g Sunflower seeds
  • 125g Sesame seeds
  • 100g Nuts, chopped - Pecan, Walnut, Hazelnuts, etc.
  • 250g Raisins
  • 250g Dried Fruit, chopped - Apricots, Apple slices, Dates, etc.

** Use Branflakes instead of wheat flakes oats for a Müsli with a lower Glycemic Index (GI).

Method

Mix all ingredients and store in a cool place.

Add milk powder, for approx. 2,5 litres, if the Müsli is for camping or a hike where fresh milk is difficult to obtain.
 

Approximately 50 portions.
