Breads

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread, white or wholemeal (wholemeal has a lower GI)
  • Butter or olive oil
  • Herbs and/or spices (garlic, onion, chili, oregano, ...)
     

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 150° C.
  2. Slice the bread.
  3. Mix your favorite herbs and/or spices with the melted butter or the olive oil.
  4. Lightly brush both sides of the bread with the flavoured oil. Trim the crusts and cut into small cubes.
  5. Spread cubes on large baking sheet and bake until golden brown, stirring them occasionally.
  6. Cool and store in an airtight container.
