Beer Bread

Breads

Ingredients

  • 500 g flour
  • 5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 x 340 ml can of beer at room temperature
  • 30 ml oil

Method

Add baking powder and salt to flour; then add oil and beer. Knead well. Form into a loaf and place into a bread pan.

Bake at 200°C for 40 - 50 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before turning out.

Serve while still warm.
 

Makes 1 loaf.
