About this list.

The organisers of workshops and conferences often look for information about establishments that provide accommodation in the vicinity of the planned event.
The original accommodation list was limited to the vicinity of the University of Pretoria and was compiled by Ms. Rudi Horak and myself to assist the delegates of the Rainbow Biology Workshops and the SAASTEC conference in 2000 to find appropriate accommodation.
On request, I have now extended the list to include the suburbs around the CSIR and shall gradually add establishments in the east of Pretoria.

The information about the establishments was collected from a number of sources, mostly advertisements and brochures distributed by the establishments themselves. Although care was taken to ensure accuracy, we do not accept responsibility for any inaccuracies or errors contained therein.

I have used a "no frills" approach to the design of this site to make it possible for people to easily print and fax this list. There are still many people out there with no access to the Internet.
